now historic teahouse built sichuan-based salt merchants served guild hall salt merchants. called wang sanwei linneage hall - s called wangye miao teahouse. wangye miao teahouse popular during height of salt trade , still stands along bend in fuxi river - runs through center of zigong. structure has classic chinese architecture , still operates today. teahouse located next river, on binjiang lu street. teahouse in fact part of zigong salt museum , used generate funds museum. however, original purpose of teahouse assembly hall shipping merchants , called wangye miao temple. origin please refer merchants assembly halls below.
