a terrestrial globe, diameter of 12.7 cm(5 inches), approximate 1:100,000,000 scale, moving in 2 degrees of freedom (rotation , inclination);
two disc-shaped indicators, 1 each longitude , latitude, markings in degrees on edges;
an orbit counter labelled ЧИСЛО ВИТКОВ (number of revolutions) 3 digits: 2 white digits orbits , 1 red digit fraction of orbit;
one lighted status indicator words место посадки, point of landing.

pilot settings

one switch (on separate control panel) activates instrument;
one switch (on separate control panel) activates motor displaces indicators actual position relative earth projected point of landing position, or vice versa
two concentric knobs conjointly labelled КОРРЕКЦИЯ (correction). inner knob labelled С, П , Л (center, right , left). selecting 1 of these 3 positions mechanically assigns outer knob, labelled НАПРАВЛЕНИЕ ВРАЩЕНИЯ, МЕНЬШЕ , БОЛЬШЕ (direction of rotation, less , more) preset 1 of 3 orbital parameters; , 3 corresponding one-digit indicators;
one knob marked Э presets or resets indicators longitude position, i.e. in equatorial plane;
one knob marked О presets or resets indicators position along orbit;
one knob (missing in picture) presets or resets orbit counter.

the sovereign building in 2011 the whitehall mall store sold leh s department store, several years flagship store on hamilton street in allentown remained vacant. added national register of historic places in 1979. in december 1982 allentown store purchased sovereign realty , development. building renovated , reopened sovereign building in may 1984. renovations included glass-arched entrance pedestrian plaza between hamilton , court streets leading grapefruit-domed lobby decor of antique brass, mirrors, greenery , wing-backed chairs. main floor , basement developed retail spaces, while upper floors turned 42 private office suites. sovereign later went financial difficulties , building sold @ sheriffs sale on 22 september 1989. today building operated office building owner resides in philadelphia.
