while moravian grammar tends similar czech grammar, there defining features. instance, moravian dialects apply uniform pattern 3rd person plural ending of class iv -it verbs, , class iii -et verbs, in standard czech traditionally varied in unintuitive fashion:



moravian dialects use prepositions in different fashion standard , common czech, mirroring usage in slovak (e.g. něco k jídlu > něco na jídlo eat , slovak: niečo na jedlo) or polish (e.g. pojď ke mně > choď mě, come me , polish: chodź mnie).
