freyr-1 solarmobil’s first car. car marked inception of student collective project -solarmobil in 2011. designing, manufacturing , assembly of car carried out in-house solarmobil team. freyr-1 single seater, 3 wheeler solar racing car. notable features of car lightweight space frame chassis, custom-made suspension system , ability drive directly on solar power using high-power-efficiency drive train.


the notable features of car clean , free fuel 0 emissions , 0 noise pollution. built aisi 4130 chromoly steel chassis gives high strength weight ratio , fibre reinforced plastic body making lightweight. solar panels 6m area constitute top of car. car adheres world solar challenge specifications , belongs ‘adventure class’ category of solar vehicles.

serve (solar electric road vehicle) designed in 2015, making india s first passenger solar electric vehicle prototype. 2 seat, 4 wheeler solar electric passenger car. top covered curved solar panel powers battery pack; in turn runs motor. solar car capable of top speed of 65 km/h , has range of 250 km. key features of car serve is, freyr-1, uses clean , free fuel 0 emissions , 0 noise pollution. built aisi 4130 chromoly steel chassis gives high strength weight ratio , gfrp body making lightweight. has aerodynamic , aesthetic design obtained cut section of tear drop - aerodynamic shape. curved solar panels used 6m2 area increased energy generation @ 20% efficiency. focus laid on improved driver ergonomics. 1 of notable features car is energy positive. serve, solarmobil entered , excelled in various competitions, notably, being winner of quest global’s annual pan-india innovation contest – quest ingenium 2015. among shortlisted 10 teams, solarmobil manipal institute of technology adjudged winning team. besides enticing cash prize, solarmobil team members have been sponsored airbus fly europe on facility tour of stade & bremen facility in germany. serve secured 3rd place prize @ cii india innovation challenge amongst 1500 entries in 2014.

Sovereign Building Zollinger-Harned Company Building

the sovereign building in 2011 the whitehall mall store sold leh s department store, several years flagship store on hamilton street in allentown remained vacant. added national register of historic places in 1979. in december 1982 allentown store purchased sovereign realty , development. building renovated , reopened sovereign building in may 1984. renovations included glass-arched entrance pedestrian plaza between hamilton , court streets leading grapefruit-domed lobby decor of antique brass, mirrors, greenery , wing-backed chairs. main floor , basement developed retail spaces, while upper floors turned 42 private office suites. sovereign later went financial difficulties , building sold @ sheriffs sale on 22 september 1989. today building operated office building owner resides in philadelphia.
