the cathedral of saint-jean-baptiste (fr): singular mixture of styles , periods. origin dates 11th century. classified historical monument in 1906.




the crypt: built in romanesque period , rediscovered in 1958.
the choir stalls in cathedral: completed in 1498, masterpiece of gothic art in walnut attributed pierre mochet.
the cloister: located between cathedral , refectory of canons, origin dates 1450. classified historical monument in 1933.
the bell tower: former capitular keep having lost gothic spire , 4 pinnacles in 1794.




notre-dame church: old parish church, closed public, origin dates 11th century. bell tower, today separated church, entrance.
palace of bishops of maurienne or former bishop: redesigned in 18th century , classified municipal building since 1905. grand salon beautiful example of baroque art.
chapel of bonne nouvelle: pilgrimage place in baroque style ex-votos. orientation table.
chapel of st. joseph s college (137, rue du collège). baroque chapel situated in st. joseph s college (formerly college lambertain, founded in 1534)
