in 2005, new hampshire supreme court launched alternative bar licensing process @ state s law school, franklin pierce law center (now unh school of law). daniel webster scholar honors program, collaboration of court, new hampshire school of law, new hampshire board of bar examiners, , new hampshire bar association, intensive practice-based honors program encompasses last 2 years of law school. students apply program during spring of 1l (first) year. enrollment in program limited 20 students per class year 40 total. once accepted program, students go through rigorous program of clinical experiences under supervision of judges, lawyers, , bar examiners, , compile portfolio of work. graduates of program must pass multistate professional responsibility examination , meet character , fitness requirements admitted new hampshire bar, exempt taking state s bar examination. webster scholar graduates may still qualify sit bar examination in other u.s. jurisdiction. first class of webster scholars graduated in 2008.
