the models undergo interview judges, including host jang yoon-ju, , face trio runway challenge @ airport when arrive casting. of girls impress, while fail excel. yeon-hee, so-ra, se-hee, , han-bit excel. da-min manages make lasting impression. after runway, models take part in photo shoot challenge @ airport, followed elimination later on day. @ shoot, cho-won, so-ra, so-hyun, na-hyun, han-bit, yeon-hee , jin-kyung manage impress. handful of other semi finalists fall flat.

host yoon ju rounds semi-finalists, , tells them have pass through metal detector. if metal detector beeps, model has not made top 16. if model able pass through detector without having beep, 1 of final 16. pool of girls reduced 16. 2 contestants rejected (da-min & hae-rin) added cast after change of heart, bringing final number 18 contestants.

the final 18 models undergo second photo shoot @ jeju island, pose goddesses of nature.

so-ra s photograph praised during judging, , receives first call-out.

so-hyun, da-min, han-sol , hae-rin land in bottom 4 due poor performance @ shoot. yoon ju hands final photograph so-hyun, eliminating other 3 contestants.

the groups deliberated , team 3 of leader han-bit won challenge , prize exclusive lunch in luxurious yacht.

the photoshoot group shot exceptional concepts.

during deliberation @ judging panel, cho-won hailed best , group embodying stark minimalism. so-hyun deemed exceptional though group agriculture deemed worst, called eleventh place if individual shot, might on top 3 photos. seul-ki , so-yeon landed @ bottom 2 uninspiring presence , mediocre photos. despite of appearing in bottom 2 again, so-yeon spared , seul-ki eliminated though produced stellar photo last week.

the contestant required third photoshoot , shooting high fashion olympic couture inspired london-olympic. girls divided into:

during panel, han-bit produces best stellar shot date did not earn first call out. jin-kyung compared jung sun of cycle 2 because of age , flawless high fashion ability thus, gained first call out of week. yeon-hee, min-jung, na-hyun, se-hee , hanbit produced stellar while other fall flat , ultimately, kyung-hee , so-yeon landed in bottom two. because of third appearance in bottom 2, so-yeon eliminated kyung-hee spared.

most of girls impressed judges @ panel. na-hyun didn t kept composure , reveal so-ra s commercial not appropriate when crumpled cup during commercial. revelation result small altercation between 2 front-runners. so-hyun hailed best out of bunch , gained first , deserved first call out followed next yeon-hee, so-ra, na-hyun, min-jung , cho-won. other contestant fall flat. ji-su , mi-rim landed @ bottom 2 producing worst commercials. despite of strong portfolio, mi-rim eliminated , ji-su saved.

the contestants surprised in morning person dressed spiderman descending roof of house. later, required practise stunts in midair on wall while secured on wires. so-ra knocked leg , on wall while practising , complained of pain constantly, annoyed of girls. then, girls paired challenge, perform stunts taught in synchronization partners. cho-won , jin-kyung declared winners , won right assign house chores other contestants.

the next morning, girls welcomed creative director , played video message americas next top model s creative director, jay manuel. mr. jay revealed right behind them , surprised girls next photo shoot.

the photo shoot required girls pose on high-rise building embodying secret agent or spy. because of so-hyun s first call-out in previous episode, got decide order of girls photos taken. so-ra first girl up. within seconds being dropped down roof of building slowly, so-ra panicked , not start shoot. after few other girls took photos, requested props department provide fake gun han-bit used in photo shoot aid posing, rubbed of girls wrong way. of girls impressed jay, so-hyun , han-bit, produced stellar photos in variety of excellent poses. during panel, so-hyun deemed best , earned second consecutive first call-out, followed yeon-hee , han-bit. cho-won s photo deemed amazing judges, exception of jay, said looked though needed go bathroom. caused cho-won cry after critique, , jay saying needs more mature , tough in such harsh industry modelling. other girls did not seemed impress @ all. so-ra reprimanded terrible attitude on set, reflected in photo. during critique, so-ra s bad habit of tearing skin under fingernails caused hands bleed in front of judges. ultimately, kyung-hee , min-jung landed bottom two. kyung-hee not taking competition , min-jung cliche photos. min-jung given chance , kyung-hee eliminated.

after elimination, girls told so-ra issues her, seemingly complaining things affecting girls — example, pain , discomfort of previous photoshoot — , fact appeared steal ideas other girls (such na-hyun s cup-crushing idea during commercial shoot, , han-bit s gun prop during spy photo shoot). so-ra dejected after conversation, noticed other girls.

the remaining 11 contestants treated lunch male guests. unbeknownst them, however, challenge being professional wherever models are. 2 models impressed modelling trainer cho-won , ji-su, treated jewelry. in addition, there 1 watch won; ji-su allowed cho-won keep watch.

soon after, individually interviewed christian paris of major model management, , girls warned beforehand elimination challenge. girls impressed christian, ji-su s facial features, se-hee s sense of style, , so-ra s in general. so-hyun s height deemed little short modelling, christian stated if s able outshine other taller contestants, can booked. cho-won s cute personality did not sit christian. christian pointed out models needed work on in order booked. ji-su first person called. han-bit , eun-hwa in bottom two. casting director stated eun-hwa gaining weight modelling. director disapproved of han-bit, unnecessarily danced during audition. ultimately, han-bit last person called out, , eun-hwa eliminated.

the photoshoot required girls pose male models vampire bride concept. so-hyun winner of previous shoot, able again choose order in girls go photoshoot; so-ra surprisingly chosen go second, after min-jung. girls complained so-ra seemed attract special attention photographer, allowed practice photographer prior actual shoot. many of girls had difficulties, so-hyun , yeon-hee received strong praise creative director , photographer.

both photographer , christian paris part of judging panel. upon viewing so-ra s photo, paris disagreed rest of judges, felt lacking in emotion , underwhelming; however, rest of panel expressed contentment on photo. so-hyun s picture left judge lee hye-ju breathless , stated did not seem amateur model. continued underestimated (and photographer admitted well), so-hyun s ability understand , work concept surprising. yeon-hee s picture received panel: photographer stated totally let go of inhibitions , surprised entire crew modelling, , lee hye-ju stated choose yeon-hee best actress . han sang-hyeok confirmed yeon-hee runner-up quite often, , hoped not runner-up week.

ultimately, so-hyun girl first called out, , yeon-hee second, each third week in row. bottom 2 han-bit , se-hee. jang yoon-ju stated se-hee, issue makeover, unable showcase modelling abilities in photoshoots , demonstrate judges had takes become top model. han-bit, issue acting ability demonstrated in picture, expected, judges getting tired of overacting , unnatural poses, , become high fashion, must learn exercise restraint. se-hee last girl called out, , han-bit eliminated.

the girls undergone runway tutorial wearing high fashion couture dresses. of them did of them fell because of difficulty of dress ji-su, , so-ra. later day, remaining contestants introduced challenge. live fashion runway walk in spinning stage. so-hyun fell flat as girls. ji-su excelled , won reward.

so-hyun once again captivated panel during deliberation though reprimanded having 1 angle on stellar portfolio. deemed excelled , called magical in motion. yeon-hee, jin-kyung, na-hyun , cho-won excelled while min-jung , ji-su disappointed panel producing bad motion due phobias. yeon-hee got first call out because judges considered second so-hyun. followed cho-won, na-hyun , so-hyun. 2 bestfriends min-jung , ji-su landed @ bottom , jang yoon-ju handed last snapshot min-jung eliminating ji-su.

overseas cambodia; oriental high fashion

immediately after elimination, girls told jang yoon-ju had go pack bags overseas destination, without telling girls going. next day, girls landed in cambodia. although pleasantly surprised choice, girls unhappy high humidity , relatively basic hotel staying at. later on, girls visited village school interacted children , fed them lunch. challenge, contestants paired off in twos. @ end of day, models held runway show children. girls won challenge cho-won , so-ra, had 300 sets of school supplies donated school in name.

the photoshoot @ old ruined temple, oriental high fashion concept set on thousand years ago. challenge winners given choice of stealing 10 frames other contestants. cho-won stole ten frames yeon-hee (with reason saw top competitor), while so-ra took them jin-kyung (stating believed shots genetics , luck). min-jung , jin-kyung pleasantly surprised creative director, whereas cho-won , se-hee struggled showcase concept. na-hyun noted complaining , not pushing herself best.

both photographer , creative director guest judges on panel. during judging, girls judged using both body shot , close-up. min-jung , jin-kyung praised understanding of concepts , poses; min-jung s photo labelled best date. on other hand, se-hee considered extremely awkward in photos; jang yoon-ju stated hands odd in both shots, , both shots poor. cho-won s photos liked judges, on set during shoot noted due luck, , model needed learn how pose camera. na-hyun s photos stated poor, , judges stated showed discomfort obviously, although judge lee hye-ju stated @ least emoted face; so-ra, on other hand, criticized not emoting enough. so-hyun noted have poor wide shot (but praised close-up), , creative director advised yeon-hee start changing poses in more subtle ways, , make more sophisticated. during judging, both so-ra , na-hyun noted losing spark on competition s duration.

to own surprise, min-jung first girl called out. bottom 2 na-hyun , se-hee. na-hyun disciplined inability keep striving forward , mask frustrations or difficulties. se-hee taken task being unable live potential , fact had yet surprise judges of photos. ultimately, se-hee eliminated.
