1978–98: life

bushido born of tunisian father , german mother in bad godesberg, small town, part of bonn in west germany. shortly after, family moved berlin. bushido grew mother , brother, in berlin-tempelhof district of former west berlin. attended eckener gymnasium tenth grade, changed gymnasium before leaving school early, , accumulated criminal record drug possession , vandalism. judge ordered him attend vocational training painter or face jail term. during training painter, met , befriended rapper fler. bushido sprayed graffiti under pseudonym fuchs (fox).

on 21 october 2002 bushido , fler released collaboration album carlo, cokxxx, nutten. on 14 july 2003 released first solo album, vom bordstein bis zur skyline.

2004–05: ersguterjunge, electro ghetto, carlo, cokxxx, nutten ii , staatsfeind nr. 1

in summer 2004, due differences, left aggro berlin , signed urban/universal. dj ilan, produced remix of industrial metal group rammstein s song amerika .

on 25 october 2004 released second solo album, electro ghetto, reached number 6 on german charts. 3 singles album released: electro ghetto (de #31, 9 weeks), nie wieder (de #31, 9 weeks) , hoffnung stirbt zuletzt (de #29, 8 weeks).

on 4 april 2005 released second collaboration album carlo cokxxx nutten ii, once again using alter ego sonny black time recording baba saad rather fler. on 4 november 2005 released third solo album, staatsfeind nr. 1.

2006–07: von der skyline zum bordstein zurück , 7

on 1 september 2006 released fourth solo album von der skyline zum bordstein zurück (abbreviated vdszbz). second sampler, ersguterjunge sampler vol. 2 - vendetta, released on 1 december 2006.

in beginning of 2007 bushido founded girl band bisou former candidates of casting show popstars. bought mansion himself , mother in berlin lichterfelde €1,200,000 plus €800,000 redecorating.

2008–09: autobiography, heavy metal payback , carlo, cokxxx, nutten 2

in january 2008 became known bushido , unknown partner had founded real estate business. yielded million euros in first ten months. bushido released autobiography bushido on 8 september, reached number 1 on spiegel bestseller list. eighth album, heavy metal payback on 10 october 2008.

the video single für immer jung caused controversy because mtv stopped airing after 2 days of heavy rotation. main editorial office decided feature czech musician karel gott didn t fit image of mtv. in meeting bushido, chief editors offered air video on other music channel, viva, bushido didn t agree , later forbade mtv , viva airing videos because couldn t reconcile conscience. bushido wrote in forum topic:

2010–11: film debut , zeiten ändern dich album, bmw reunion jenseits von gut und böse , 23

the movie zeiten ändern dich shot in , around berlin 21 july mid-september 2009. released on 4 february 2010. movie based on bushido s autobiography, featuring bushido himself. uli edel directed , bernd eichinger produced it. 80,000 people watched movie on release date.

the soundtrack movie, titled zeiten ändern dich, released in 3 different versions on 19 february 2010.

bushido , kay 1 wrote , recorded fackeln im wind , dedicated german national football team in honor of start of soccer world cup 2010 , released on 11 june. bushido got idea song after meeting football player sami khedira during zeiten ändern dich – live durch europa tour.

in august, bushido reformed group berlins wanted, consisted of himself, bass sultan hengzt , king orgasmus, in 2001 during king of kingz era, , added kay 1 , fler group. released album berlins wanted single called berlins wanted .

on 31 march 2011 bushido released video on youtube channel, in confirmed plans new album entitled jenseits von gut und böse , guest appearance of french rapper booba. on 19 april, second statement video published, first thanked singer j-luv vocal parts on single vergiss mich , released on 22 april in digital format along music video. presented producers rsonist , benny blanco , confirmed xavier naidoo söhne mannheims featured guest performer on song du bist ein mensch . third statement video published on 28 april on youtube channel. in video, bushido confirmed label mate kay 1 has guest appearance on album, , introduced dj desue producer. bushido announced song wie ein löwe downloaded on itunes following day.

american record producers dj premier, swizz beatz, araab muzik , r sonist each contributed 1 beat album. meeting dr. dre intended, bushido cancelled due high price. later dj premier became disappointed new vocals added song gangster , dj-cuts edited without giving him chance hear new version before released. unknown if bushido s idea or of production team.

in 2011, sido , bushido reconciled after 6-year during dispute, , on 15 august 2011 sony music entertainment stated collaboration album of 2 rappers, titled 23, release on 14 october. teaser trailer promoting project leaked same day on bushido s youtube channel. first single mach ich es released on 30 september 2011 via internet , cd single released on 21 october. music video released via bushido s youtube channel on 10 october , later platform set age restriction, because video has been flagged being inappropriate. @ echo awards won in category bestes video national (best video national).

prior release of second video gangsta rap kings , featuring guest appearances fellow german rappers kollegah , farid bang, bushido posted 2 picture on-set via instagram. first picture features bushido , farid bang. second picture features 3 rappers hashtag #kks , referring then-up-coming album titles of each rapper: killa (farid bang), king (kollegah) , sonny black (bushido). video released on january 24, 2014 via youtube. third , last video jeder meiner freunde released on february 13, 2014, 1 day before album s release.
