Famous chashitsu Chashitsu
jo-an
jo-an (如庵). located in inuyama in aichi, tea house built in kyoto in 1618 urakusai, younger brother of oda nobunaga, , moved present location in 1972. designated national treasure in 1951.
konnichi-an (今日庵, today hut). original tea room built sen sōtan @ later became known urasenke konnichian estate. floor space composed of 1 full tatami, 3/4-size daime tatami, , wooden board @ head of daime tatami. there no recessed tokonoma.
fushin-an (不審庵, doubting hut). tea room run sen rikyū. moved son sen shoan current location. part of omotesenke estate.
tai-an (待庵). extant chashitsu designed sen rikyū, representing concept of wabi-cha. located @ myōkian temple in Ōyamazaki, kyoto. designated national treasure.
zangetsu-tei (残月亭, morning moon arbour). tea house belonging omotesenke school in kyoto.
glass tea house (光庵, light hut) designed tokujin yoshioka.
