in northern part of territory lies kakadu national park, features breathtaking wetlands , native wildlife. north of lies arafura sea, , east lies arnhem land, regional centre maningrida on liverpool river delta. there extensive series of river systems in northern territory. these rivers include: alligator rivers, daly river, finke river, mcarthur river, roper river, todd river , victoria river.
