la soirée s inaugural season debuted in london @ south bank big top in october 2010. cast included previous la clique artists captain frodo, david o mer, english gents, miss behave, ursula martinez, camille o sullivan, cabaret decadanse, le gateau chocolat, marawa, jess love, bret pfister, hugo desmarais , meow meow, new cast member mooky cornish.


in november 2010, producers of la soirée announced london run extended 27 february 2011 due phenomenal demand. original ending date season 30 january 2011.


umeå , stockholm, sweden; march – april 2011

after successful swedish season la clique in 2010, announced la soirée returning umeå s idunteatern , stockholm s gröna lund six-week season. cast included ursula martinez, captain frodo, english gents, david o mer, cabaret decadanse, skating willers, amy g, yulia pykhtina , le gateau chocolat, of whom have appeared in previous seasons of la clique or la soirée.


aalborg, denmark; october 2011

after performing 2 consecutive years @ aarhus festuge in aarhus, denmark la clique, la soirée returned denmark, playing @ skråen nordkraft venue part of aalborg fringe festival. cast included previous la clique artists yulia pykhtina, english gents, hugo desmarais, captain frodo, amy g, susannah martinez, david o’mer , le gateau chocolat, new cast members chris & iris.


london, united kingdom; november 2011 – january 2012

in 2011, producers of la soirée announced 2011 christmas season, la soirée return perform in roundhouse 10-week season. la clique played @ roundhouse during 2009 christmas season, broke box-office records fastest selling show in pre-opening sales, grossing on £500,000 in sales before first performance. cast london season included previous la clique artists yulia pykhtina, english gents, mooky, le gateau chocolat, katharine arnold, hugo desmarais, chris & iris , mario, queen of circus. in addition, regular la clique cast members skating willers announced after thirty years of performing together, london season @ roundhouse last together. cast included artists nate cooper, paul capsis, omar cortes, & on , comedian david armand, of whom performing in la soirée season first time.


in october 2011, london newspaper evening standard shortlisted la soirée evening standard award in category of best night out @ theatre, calling joyous evening of outrageous, bizarre , beautiful, variety blended cabaret , threw in burlesque measure. la soirée nominated against long-running london west end productions chicago, les misérables , wicked.


in november 2011, la soirée nominated in first annual london cabaret awards, celebrate growing cabaret scene in london. la soirée won in category of best one-off show.


sydney, australia; january – february 2012

after having played la clique in sydney part of sydney festival, la soirée’s producers announced la soirée return perform season @ iconic sydney opera house. due overwhelming demand, show ended extending season twice, running unprecedented 10 weeks @ sydney opera house. la soirée’s sydney cast included david o’mer, captain frodo, english gents, ursula martinez, jess love, mooky, bret pfister, gerry connolly, yulia pykhtina, le gateau chocolat, susannah martinez , mario, queen of circus.


adelaide, australia; march 2012

following australian debut la soirée @ sydney opera house, producers announced show return adelaide fringe festival in 2012, performing in garden of unearthly delights. nine-show season sold out. @ conclusion of festival, la soirée awarded banksa pick of fringe festival, award given fringe “experience” demonstrating overall excellence. la soirée shortlisted banksa best cabaret award. cast of adelaide season included mooky, david o’mer, captain frodo, english gents, susannah martinez, le gateau chocolat, yulia pykhtina , mario, queen of circus.


hamburg, germany; may – june 2012

in may 2012, la soirée made german debut in hamburg @ fliegende bauten hamburg venue six-week season. cast included mario, queen of circus, amy g, yulia pykhtina, mooky, susannah martinez, english gents, captain frodo, miss behave , david o’mer.

Sovereign Building Zollinger-Harned Company Building

the sovereign building in 2011 the whitehall mall store sold leh s department store, several years flagship store on hamilton street in allentown remained vacant. added national register of historic places in 1979. in december 1982 allentown store purchased sovereign realty , development. building renovated , reopened sovereign building in may 1984. renovations included glass-arched entrance pedestrian plaza between hamilton , court streets leading grapefruit-domed lobby decor of antique brass, mirrors, greenery , wing-backed chairs. main floor , basement developed retail spaces, while upper floors turned 42 private office suites. sovereign later went financial difficulties , building sold @ sheriffs sale on 22 september 1989. today building operated office building owner resides in philadelphia.
