clausen signed chicago bears on june 5, 2014. during preseason competed jordan palmer second string spot; clausen won job.


on december 17, marc trestman announced clausen take on starting quarterback position jay cutler. clausen completed 26 of 48 passes 181 yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception , 77 passer rating in 20–14 loss detroit lions. during game s fourth quarter, ezekiel ansah collided clausen in helmet-to-helmet collision. ansah penalized , later fined, while clausen later diagnosed concussion. relinquished starting role cutler, played in bears season finale.


on march 6, 2015, clausen re-signed on one-year deal. on november 23, 2015, waived.

the sovereign building in 2011 the whitehall mall store sold leh s department store, several years flagship store on hamilton street in allentown remained vacant. added national register of historic places in 1979. in december 1982 allentown store purchased sovereign realty , development. building renovated , reopened sovereign building in may 1984. renovations included glass-arched entrance pedestrian plaza between hamilton , court streets leading grapefruit-domed lobby decor of antique brass, mirrors, greenery , wing-backed chairs. main floor , basement developed retail spaces, while upper floors turned 42 private office suites. sovereign later went financial difficulties , building sold @ sheriffs sale on 22 september 1989. today building operated office building owner resides in philadelphia.
