biography
early life , education

omawumi born chief dr. frank , mrs. aya megbele on 13 april 1982. attended nana primary school during pupilage, , later attended college of education demonstration secondary school. graduated ambrose alli university law degree. after graduating in 2005, moved port harcourt, rivers state, worked family s law firm called o.s megbele & associates . studied french @ alliance francaise.


music career

omawumi rose prominence contestant on idols west africa. omawumi, strong voice , out-going personality, voted 1st runner-up of competition when ended in may 2007. since then, has had numerous performances on stage musicians such p-square, 2face idibia, d banj, banky w, m.i, sasha, 9ice, chaka demus , pliers, carl thomas, angie stone , donell jones, angelique kidjo , among others.


acting career

omawumi played minor role in 2009 edition of v-monolugues, play reflects negative issues affecting women in nigeria. starred in musical play olurombi. had minor role in movie inale, hollywood/nollywood bongos-ikwe production, starring hakeem kae kazeem, dede mabiaku, , ini edo. in 2011, starred in funke akindele s return of jenifa. moreover, starred in yvonne nelson s house of gold (2013) alongside majid michel , ice prince.

the sovereign building in 2011 the whitehall mall store sold leh s department store, several years flagship store on hamilton street in allentown remained vacant. added national register of historic places in 1979. in december 1982 allentown store purchased sovereign realty , development. building renovated , reopened sovereign building in may 1984. renovations included glass-arched entrance pedestrian plaza between hamilton , court streets leading grapefruit-domed lobby decor of antique brass, mirrors, greenery , wing-backed chairs. main floor , basement developed retail spaces, while upper floors turned 42 private office suites. sovereign later went financial difficulties , building sold @ sheriffs sale on 22 september 1989. today building operated office building owner resides in philadelphia.
