berry took snaps on offense @ quarterback , wide receiver, gaining 44 rushing yards on 7 carries. in addition, gained 32 yards on 2 kick-off returns.


his success had journalists speculating end being best defensive player in tennessee history. nominated finalist jim thorpe award, lott trophy, , chuck bednarik award.


berry named sec defensive player of year , first-team all-sec pick. unanimous first-team american. touchdown club of columbus named him winner of 2008 jack tatum award well.
