the passenger station narrow building, timber-framed , clad in weatherboards, set on concrete stumps. has gabled roof of corrugated iron. small extension south west of building has skillion roof.

the south eastern elevation of building faces road. set of double, framed , boarded doors provide access through elevation. these open out onto small loading platform , give access store room @ south western end of building. 4 timber framed, vertical sliding windows distributed along elevation east of doors. fifth window opening lavatory @ north eastern end louvred.

the ends of building each provided single window. vertical sliding window located in centre of north eastern end , small louvered window fitted in middle of other end near top.

the platform extends along length of north western elevation. series of doors , openings give access onto platform. waiting room enclosed on 3 sides only. fourth side open platform , forms largest opening on platform elevation. single doors provide access records room , male lavatory, 2 single doors open station office , double door opens store. exception of door male lavatory, single doors paneled, top panels of doors office glassed. double doors store framed , boarded. 2 vertical sliding windows open office. access women s lavatory via single door waiting shed.

the roof of building extends on platform. series of horizontal timber members extend wall out rafters on platform. space between members , rafters in-filled vertical slats. short straight timber brackets extend mid-point of horizontal member down wall @ angle of approximately 45°.

with exception of store room , men s lavatory, internal rooms of station lined. women s lavatory, store room , waiting shed @ north eastern end lined vertical boards , office fibro or plaster board. timber benches fixed 2 of walls in waiting shed.
