clausen had outstanding prep career @ oaks christian high school in westlake village, california. in 2006, threw 49 touchdown passes season lead lions first ever division iii state title on cardinal newman high school (santa rosa, ca). clausen never lost football game started in prep career (42–0). threw 10,677 yards in career @ oaks christian. senior, clausen won 2006 hall trophy nation s top high school football player , named offensive player of year usa today. clausen named co player of year, along usc running joe mcknight, parade magazine.


as younger brother of 2 former division quarterbacks—casey , rick clausen, both played @ tennessee—jimmy clausen gained media attention early. beginning in eighth grade, parents paid tutelage under professional quarterbacks coach steve clarkson. during junior season, sports illustrated feature dubbed him kid golden arm . recruiting analysts considered him once in decade quarterback talent , ranked him #1 overall prospect of 2007 high school class. because of quick release, in media compared him joe namath.


critics have questioned whether clausen s success in high school largely product of team—containing dozen players went on play ncaa division bowl subdivision teams, including highly ranked running back, marc tyler—and inferior talent level of opponents. many of these critics pointed 2007 u.s. army all-american bowl in clausen outplayed fellow 2007 quarterback recruit, ryan mallett. further, clausen s age subject of criticism: started kindergarten @ 6 , repeated sixth grade, 19 years old @ time of graduation.


on april 22, 2006, clausen verbally committed university of notre dame. highly touted recruit fighting irish since arrival of ron powlus in 1993. clausen announced oral commitment @ college football hall of fame in south bend, indiana, after arriving in stretch hummer limousine. said goal win multiple national titles irish.

the sovereign building in 2011 the whitehall mall store sold leh s department store, several years flagship store on hamilton street in allentown remained vacant. added national register of historic places in 1979. in december 1982 allentown store purchased sovereign realty , development. building renovated , reopened sovereign building in may 1984. renovations included glass-arched entrance pedestrian plaza between hamilton , court streets leading grapefruit-domed lobby decor of antique brass, mirrors, greenery , wing-backed chairs. main floor , basement developed retail spaces, while upper floors turned 42 private office suites. sovereign later went financial difficulties , building sold @ sheriffs sale on 22 september 1989. today building operated office building owner resides in philadelphia.
