Ridgewood Intermodal Terminal Myrtle–Wyckoff Avenues (New York City Subway)



adjacent station ridgewood intermodal terminal, major central bus station opened on august 20, 2010 @ cost of $4.5 million. located on palmetto street, facility bordered on south intersection of myrtle , wyckoff avenues , on north st. nicholas avenue. palmetto street closed traffic except nyc transit buses , deliveries.


the terminal features reconstructed roadway , sidewalks between wyckoff , st. nicholas avenues on palmetto street. concrete bus pads on roadway along both sides of palmetto street length of block. sidewalk canopies suspended elevated structure of myrtle avenue line on both sides of palmetto street provide shelter weather elements. other features include sidewalk benches , new lighting improve waiting environment customers, new bus stop signage, bus holding lights linked canarsie line (they activated part of subsequent signal system), , new dispatcher’s booth nyc transit employees.


the 6 nyc transit bus lines served in terminal provide easier transfers subway , between bus routes.
