the gl8 first entered production in china in 1999.


the regular wheelbase gl8 known gl8 2.5 while extended wheelbase variant called gl8 first land. there 4 trim levels available, called lt, ct1, ct2, , gt (which available on firstland). in october 2001, first bunch of buick gl10s (10 passenger versions of 1st-generation gl8) exported philippines rebadged chevrolet venture. gl8 underwent facelift in 2005, receiving redesigned front end , new clear taillights. while first generation has been superseded new one, introduced in late 2010, still on sale , in production business edition gl8, 2.4-litre ecotec four-cylinder engine.

the sovereign building in 2011 the whitehall mall store sold leh s department store, several years flagship store on hamilton street in allentown remained vacant. added national register of historic places in 1979. in december 1982 allentown store purchased sovereign realty , development. building renovated , reopened sovereign building in may 1984. renovations included glass-arched entrance pedestrian plaza between hamilton , court streets leading grapefruit-domed lobby decor of antique brass, mirrors, greenery , wing-backed chairs. main floor , basement developed retail spaces, while upper floors turned 42 private office suites. sovereign later went financial difficulties , building sold @ sheriffs sale on 22 september 1989. today building operated office building owner resides in philadelphia.
