boston blaze (traveling team) – second team owned owner of vermont bucks; blaze played second half of season, beating parent club, before owner closed team down prior playoffs.
cleveland saints (cleveland, ohio) – announced inaugural team, never played (the team had folded 2 years prior)
connecticut chiefs (traveling team) - played 1 game. still listed league member, 2 other games against buffalo never played.
erie (erie, pennsylvania) – announced , unnamed inaugural team, never played.
lockport lightning (lockport, new york) — announced inaugural team, folded after joint tryout buffalo , niagara falls.
new hampshire brigade (john f. kennedy memorial coliseum; manchester, new hampshire) – announced inaugural team. brigade began play during 2017 season folded partway through due travel problems, , game results scrubbed league record.
niagara falls thunder (hyde park sports pavilion; niagara falls, new york) – owned same owners blitz; thunder played 1 game against blitz, ceased operations.
ontario niagara spartans (fleming arena; beamsville, ontario) – played first 2 away games, while wearing team s owners semi-professional steel city patriots uniforms (the blitz listed games on official web sites being against patriots, not spartans). expelled league time after april 22 contest, wins vacated , april 29 contest declared forfeiture.
reading raptors (reading, pennsylvania) – announced inaugural team, remained semi-professional team in major indoor football league , did not join can-am.
toronto mounties (toronto, ontario) - all-gay traveling team included on draft of buffalo blitz s schedule.

Sovereign Building Zollinger-Harned Company Building

the sovereign building in 2011 the whitehall mall store sold leh s department store, several years flagship store on hamilton street in allentown remained vacant. added national register of historic places in 1979. in december 1982 allentown store purchased sovereign realty , development. building renovated , reopened sovereign building in may 1984. renovations included glass-arched entrance pedestrian plaza between hamilton , court streets leading grapefruit-domed lobby decor of antique brass, mirrors, greenery , wing-backed chairs. main floor , basement developed retail spaces, while upper floors turned 42 private office suites. sovereign later went financial difficulties , building sold @ sheriffs sale on 22 september 1989. today building operated office building owner resides in philadelphia.
