in 1989, wray awarded women in film crystal award. wray honored legend in film award @ 2003 palm beach international film festival. contribution motion picture industry, wray honored star on hollywood walk of fame @ 6349 hollywood blvd. received star posthumously on canada s walk of fame in toronto on june 5, 2005. small park near lee s creek on main street in cardston, alberta, birthplace, named fay wray park in honour. small sign @ edge of park on main street has silhouette of king kong on it, remembering role in film king kong. large oil portrait of wray alberta artist neil boyle on display in empress theatre in fort macleod, alberta. in may 2006, wray became 1 of first 4 entertainers ever honored canada post being featured on postage stamp.

Sovereign Building Zollinger-Harned Company Building

the sovereign building in 2011 the whitehall mall store sold leh s department store, several years flagship store on hamilton street in allentown remained vacant. added national register of historic places in 1979. in december 1982 allentown store purchased sovereign realty , development. building renovated , reopened sovereign building in may 1984. renovations included glass-arched entrance pedestrian plaza between hamilton , court streets leading grapefruit-domed lobby decor of antique brass, mirrors, greenery , wing-backed chairs. main floor , basement developed retail spaces, while upper floors turned 42 private office suites. sovereign later went financial difficulties , building sold @ sheriffs sale on 22 september 1989. today building operated office building owner resides in philadelphia.
